ThinCats, an alternative financing provider for small and medium-sized businesses, has funded Omni Partners’ investment in Compass Continuing Healthcare (Compass CHC).

Compass CHC, based in Birmingham, helps people secure continued NHS funding for out-of-hospital care.

Founded in 2014, Compass CHC has a team of over 70 specialists who guide applicants through the ongoing NHS healthcare funding process.

Leicester-based ThinCats backed the deal, enabling Omni to work with Compass CHC to improve its services and expand its reach.

Dave Sherrington, managing director, London and South East, ThinCats, said: “We are delighted to have worked alongside Omni on another fantastic transaction. It is gratifying to be able to support investment in a business that plays a major role in an increasingly important market and we are delighted to see Compass CHC achieve its growth ambitions.”

Compass CHC will continue to operate under current management, focusing on enhancing offerings and exploring growth opportunities.

His vision and values have been with us since day one, so it was a no-brainer when offered the chance to partner with him and amplify Compass CHC’s positive impact on society. This is a classic Omni investment – founder driven by a mission, good at the heart of society and a team united in their passion to help people at their most vulnerable point in their lives.”
