The cheapest streets to live on in every borough of Greater Manchester have been revealed

Finding a cheap home is a difficult thing to do these days. As house prices remain high across the region, you are now looking at a cost of around £259,316 to buy a standard home in Greater Manchester.

Fortunately, there are certain areas where property prices are much more affordable, which can be narrowed down to certain streets. A tool of Property resolvers has now located the streets with the cheapest homes in the region, looking at average sale prices from HM Land Registry over the past five years.

House prices start from £37,583 on Old School Drive in Manchester, with some of the cheapest streets including Savick Avenue in Bolton, Drake Close in Oldham and Henderson Street in Rochdale.
