Brad Arthur gives the latest injury blow as Leeds Rhinos boss reveals how Lachie Miller can improve – Total Rugby League

LEEDS RHINOS head coach Brad Arthur has given the latest on winger David Fusitu’a’s knock.

The winger was ruled out of Rhinos’ 20-12 defeat to Hull KR and now Arthur has revealed the injury and how long he will be sidelined.

“He has a calf problem and could be out for a few weeks. It’s hard to say with soft tissue injuries, but initially I was told three games,” Arthur said.

The former Parramatta Eels boss has revealed James Bentley will return for the Rhinos as he hinted at what fullback Lachie Miller can improve on after being criticized last week.

“We’re getting close to it. We got James Bentley back this week, it will be my first look at him off the bench to see what I can see he brings to the team.

“I can’t wait to see how James McDonnell goes for 80 minutes. I want to see the partnership between Brodie Croft and Matt Frawley grow.

“Lachie Miller has done some good things, but he has some things in his game that he needs to eliminate.

“I don’t have to take him out, I want him on the firing line, he’s done a lot of good things for us and he brings things that I can’t coach.

“He needs to improve his positional play because he wasted a lot of energy unnecessarily. I have ordered what he must look for.”
