Liverpool have given Federico Chiesa a transfer update as a deal with the free agent looms

According to Football Transfers, Chiesa’s most likely destination would be Tottenham Hotspur should he leave Juventus. The report claims that Liverpool are also interested in signing Chiesa, but will face competition from Spurs, Arsenal and Newcastle, as well as the Saudi Pro League.

It has been claimed that Juventus will demand a fee of between €25m (£21m) and €30m (£25m) to allow Chiesa to leave the Serie A giants. However, it has been stated that Tottenham have a good relationship with Juventus, which may give them the upper hand in negotiations.

Elsewhere, Liverpool are said to be interested in signing Bordeaux defender Mathys Angely. According to French news outlet Foot Mercato, the Boreaux players could be set to leave the club as free agents after the club’s bankruptcy was confirmed.

The report claimed that before bankruptcy was announced, Liverpool had shown an interest in signing Angely. The 17-year-old centre-back is regarded as one of the most promising young talents in Europe and looks set to be available on a free transfer.
