The away kit breaks the shirt sales record

Leeds United’s new yellow away kit has proved a massive hit with supporters.

Over 15,000 shirts were sold in the first day of sales alone as fans couldn’t wait to get their hands on the latest release.

This meant it was a record 24 hours for the club, based on all previous sales of Leeds United shirts.

Inspired by the shirt worn in 1974, the yellow away shirt prominently displays the smiling emblem used at the time.

It also features a blue peaked button collar and adidas signature blue and white 3 stripes on the shoulders.

Leeds United’s first team wore the kit for the first time during Wednesday’s 4-1 win over Hannover 96 in Germany.

The kit is now available both online at leedsunited.com and in the club’s stores across the city.
