The Nottingham Holiday Inn is undergoing a major refurbishment with a new bar and event space

A Nottingham hotel has undergone a complete makeover. The Holiday Inn, on Castle Bridge Road, near Lenton, has given a new look to the bedrooms, lobby, bar, breakfast area and outdoor seating area.

The recent refurbishment refurbished 37 of its third floor bedrooms and rooms and also saw the opening of its new meeting and events space. The Marina Suite has the capacity to accommodate 100 guests seated, which can accommodate meetings and even parties.

The hotel’s media area and new bar have also been designed to encourage remote workers. The breakfast area has also been upgraded and the outside terrace is now heated.

Helen McConnell, General Manager at Holiday Inn Nottingham, said: “We believed the hotel needed upgrading to improve the guest experience and make the working environment for our staff more enjoyable. Having worked at the hotel for over a decade, it has been amazing to help transform it into a modern, open space ideal for hybrid working, outdoor dining and more.

“The addition of our new Marina Suite now makes us the perfect destination for a multitude of events.” In addition to all this, the hotel has also added some new artwork that pays homage to Nottingham’s history, particularly the lace industry, Robin Hood and Raleigh bicycles.

Helen continued: “We are delighted to offer guests a fantastic service in our newly refurbished hotel and will continually strive to ensure that Holiday Inn Nottingham is the preferred choice for all guests looking to stay in and around this wonderful city.”
