Rita Ora cancels show after ‘night in hospital in Budapest’

Rita Ora was forced to cancel her show in Hungary just hours before she was due to take to the stage as she revealed she was ill. The Poison singer, 33, was scheduled to perform at the Campus Fesztival in Debrecen, but had to pull out and “rest well” on “doctors’ orders”.

Updating her 16.1 million Instagram followers, Rita shared a heartfelt message in her stories, although she did not reveal the nature of her illness. But she revealed it was bad enough that she spent the night in a hospital in Budapest.

She wrote: “Please forgive this unexpected turn of events, but unfortunately I will not be able to perform at Campus Fesztival tonight. After spending the night in the hospital in Budapest, I need to rest well and follow the doctor’s orders.
