Police sentences and appeals this week in Bristol

Avon and Somerset Police have released CCTV footage following an attack in Bristol this week. They are also appealing for witnesses to an attack on a female dog walker which took place earlier this month in the Hengrove area.

Avon and Somerset Police appealed to the public on Tuesday, July 23, to identify anyone officers want to speak to following an attack in Bristol.

Case officer PC Olivia Fudge said: “We appreciate the image is not the sharpest and shows the individual from a distance, but we hope it may jog someone’s memory or help with our enquiries.

“The man pictured is white, of stocky build, believed to be in his 30s, approximately 6ft tall, with fair hair. He is shown wearing shorts, a polo top and sneakers, all of which are white.

“If you have been in the area or traveled through the area and have any information that could help us identify the man or assist us with our enquiries, we would like to hear from them.”
