Liverpool transfer news LIVE: Anthony Gordon discusses Viktor Gyokeres interest, Ben Doak move

Liverpool have yet to make a transfer this summer. After Fulham confirmed the capture of Ryan Sessegnon, the Reds are now the only club in the top flight yet to add someone to their roster.

Pre-season training has gone well so far though. And there are 10 more senior players to add to the list, even on top of the quality Arne Slot has already worked with.

The Reds are currently on US soil preparing to go head to head with Arsenal and Manchester United who have now beaten Real Betis. Slot are still without several of their key players, meaning a young squad will take to the field in the coming weeks, but Diogo Jota has joined his team-mates.

Viktor Gyokeres and Pedro Neto are the latest names to be mooted, with reports suggesting that talks have taken place over a potential transfer for both strikers. He’s not the only one turning heads, with fans also buzzing about the possibility of Mohammed Kudus joining the ranks at Anfield, following links to Anthony Gordon.

And then, of course, new contracts are needed for Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold. There is therefore a lot to do for new sporting director Richard Hughes.
