Chelsea beat 10-man Leicester with a dramatic 4-2 win at Stamford Bridge, but tensions still remain.

Some home supporters booed Raheem Sterling and manager Mauricio Pochettino as tensions rose as Chelsea threatened to collapse from 2-0 up.

It was another win in the pressure cooker at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea rely on the FA Cup to keep their season alive.

But amid the pressure, Chelsea again reached Wembley after late goals from Carney Chukwuemeka and Noni Madueke.

Sterling is losing fan support

In standout scenes in the second half, Sterling was booed and there were chants of “Get him off” from the Matthew Harding End.

It came moments after he skied a free-kick high into the stands after Callum Doyle was fouled by his last man.

Sterling had earlier missed a penalty and a one-on-one but got a great assist for Palmer to partially make amends during a difficult first half.

The home fans booed Pochettino’s decision to bring on Mykhailo Mudryk for Sterling when Carney Chukwuemeka came on. Where does Sterling, who seems low on confidence, go from here?

calamities Disasi and Sanchez

After a positive first half, several Chelsea players had their problematic moments.

It started when Robert Sanchez, who lost his starting goaltending role, was caught in possession by Patson Daka early on.

He then wobbled at a series of crosses in a fairly even match.

Axel Disasi was consistent as ever in the first half, but a split-second miscalculation under pressure from Daka saw him knock the ball into his own net from 30 yards.

This will be one of the great own goals, allowing Leicester to get back into the game.

Sensational substitutes

Carney Chukwuemeka and Noni Madueke had exactly the impact Pochettino wanted from the bench.

His two substitute strikers both teams, Chukwuemeka putting Chelsea back in front after a sensational one-two with Cole Palmer and Madueke then scored a stunning solo goal.

The two England Under-21 internationals are knocking on the door to start after the international break. They rescued Chelsea after Disasi’s own goal and Stephy Mavididi’s stunning equaliser, leveled after goals from Marc Cucurella and Cole Palmer.
