Detective Jay Slater stumbles upon new Manchester Airport records

Former police detective Mark Williams-Thomas has criticized barrister Akhmed Yakoob, who is representing the recent incident at Manchester Airport.

Mark, known for investigating a number of high-profile missing person cases, previously worked for the family of 19-year-old Jay Slater, who was tragically found dead in a ravine in Tenerife earlier this month. after an extensive search.

Footage emerged from Manchester Airport at the weekend showing the violent chaos moments before a police officer was filmed apparently kicking a man in the head in a video that has gone viral.

Exclusive footage, obtained by the Manchester Evening News, shows the events leading up to the incident, which has sparked controversy and sparked protests since it emerged on social media. Footage previously shared appeared to show the officer kicking and punching a man in the head as he lay on the ground.

Now, new footage captures the chaotic and violent scenes between those involved in the incident and police officers leading up to this moment. At the start of the clip, a group of people can be seen gathered around a ticket machine inside a Terminal 2 car park, the Mirror reports.

Three police officers – one man and two women – are seen approaching a man in light blue who is facing the camera in the middle of a group of people. An officer appears to grab the man’s hands in an effort to detain him.

The male officer then appears to force the man upside down while his two female colleagues stand by him. Several people from the group then approach the scene.

In a social media post shared over the weekend, Mark slammed Akhmed, saying the two men were “definitely not the angels he portrayed them to be.” Alongside the newly released footage from Manchester Airport, Mark wrote: “New footage of the immediate events leading up to the incident at Manchester Airport which appears to show a police officer hitting a man in the head. You can see the violence of men against the police, including the attack on the female police officer.”
