Two Warriors were in loan and dual registration action across the latest round of Betfred Super League and Championship fixtures.

Huddersfield Giants 6-34 Leeds Rhinos

Sam Eseh Jr started at prop forward as Leeds Rhinos returned to winning ways with a comfortable win over Huddersfield Giants at the John Smith’s Stadium on Thursday night.

First half tries from Ash Handley, Harry Newman and Matt Frawley saw the Rhinos lead 18-6 at the break before further scores from Brodie Croft and Lachlan Miller – plus a second for Handley – sealed a first Leeds win under new head coach Brad Arthur.

Widnes Vikings 25-6 Bradford Bulls

Harvey Makin was a used interchange as Bradford Bulls were beaten by Widnes Vikings at the DCBL Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

After a scoreless first quarter, the Bulls took the lead when Max Lehmann crossed in the corner for a converted try. Despite the hosts hitting back on the half hour, Bradford remained in front following an unsuccessful kick.

Three tries in 10 minutes saw Widnes turn the game around to lead 18-6 before a dropped goal and a converted try in the final minute confirmed the two points which takes the Vikings level in the table with Bradford.
