Coventry city center store makes big move and bosses say ‘we’re so happy’

A Coventry city center store has moved and bosses say ‘we’re so happy’. Rymans has now opened its doors in the Lower Precinct shopping centre.

An official opening was held to mark the firm’s move from Hertford Street. “We are so happy to welcome them to the Lower Precinct family,” Lower Precinct said on its Facebook page.




The new-look store is the latest to open in the shopping center this year. with Cards Direct opening a month earlier in March.

However, the wider town center has lost some shops in recent months. Cafe Morso, The Cat Lounge, Chameleon, Metropolis and Bean & Brunch have all closed their doors.

Coventry Business Improvement District (BID) has launched a new campaign to boost retail, hospitality and leisure businesses, particularly independent ones.

Locals are asked to shop local and share posts on social media, telling friends and family and sharing positive experiences through reviews. To find out more about supporting independent businesses in Coventry and to see a list of businesses visit the website here
