Liverpool are keen to strengthen their attacking options this summer. Reports in Italy suggest the Reds are looking to make a “bold move” by signing £110m (€130m) striker Victor Osimhen from Napoli.

Corriere dello Sport (via TEAMtalk ) claim Liverpool have made an inquiry for Osimhen, who has contributed 76 goals in 133 appearances since joining Italian side Lille in 2020. The 25-year-old’s asking price has put so far the clubs disable the negotiation of a move.

It has forced chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis to consider lowering his asking price, with both Arsenal and Chelsea also linked with a move for Osimhen. The latter are believed to be trying to negotiate a player swap deal with Romelu Lukaku, who is wanted by Antonio Conte at Napoli.

The report adds that Napoli could revise their asking price and the striker could be available for £75m (€90m).

Osimhen has already revealed his desire to join a Premier League club, saying: “I’ve already made up my mind. I already have my plan, I know what I want to do, the next step I want to take. I think 60 percent. of people mention the Premier League rumors. Premier League is one of the biggest leagues in the world. I want to finish the season with Napoli, then make the decision I have already made.

According to Spanish publication Relevo, Real Madrid are working on a deal to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold next year. The right-back is in the final 12 months of his contract with the Reds, which he signed almost three years ago.
