Three people face various charges following a multi-agency investigation and police traffic stop on July 8.

RCMP said the Canada Border Services Agency-led initiative, which included members of the RCMP, OPP and the Ontario Ministry of Finance, pulled over two vehicles in the Cornwall area and searched them. Officers seized more than 200 kilograms of cannabis with an estimated street value of $897,000, several mobile phones and a quantity of US cash.

Police claimed the man stole a bicycle on July 25. He was found and taken into police custody on Sunday.

William Litwinowich, 40, was charged with theft under $5,000.

He was released from police custody to appear at Cornwall Crown Court on September 5.
