The Londoner moves to Cornwall and notices seven major life changes

There are many positives that come with being a Londoner.

It is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world, has a rich history and also offers plenty of job opportunities. Many also enjoy living in the capital because there is always something going on – from theatre, to art galleries and world-renowned festivals.

But as one woman recently found out, there are also plenty of downsides — whether it’s the rush, not being able to save money, or stressing about how much it all will cost.

Because of this, some Londoners may choose to move out of the city entirely. And so it was with Tasha Louse, who made the leap and moved to Cornwall instead.

She seems to have no regrets about her decision – and told her online followers exactly why. Tasha posted pictures of herself in London against Cornwall, highlighting how her mindset has changed since moving.

At the top of the first snap, Tasha wrote: ‘My thoughts when I worked in London: I’m not good enough, I want more money, I need a big house to prove how successful I am. I’m exhausted, no I don’t want you to do anything after work.

She then posted a picture of herself in Cornwall, listing seven aspects of her life that have changed for the better. She said: “My thoughts on Cornwall: I’m so lucky to live here, take your time, the best things in life are free. It’s so easy to talk to people here and make new friends. Being surrounded by nature is so amazing, I’m so grateful, every day is so different.”

Tasha added: “I feel like I’m thriving, not just surviving.” Her message seemed to resonate with many – as one commenter said: “And this is why I’m moving home to Cornwall.”
