Huddersfield businesses get a global boost with funding from HSBC UK

A Huddersfield-based global brand consultancy is set for international expansion after securing an eight-figure funding package from HSBC UK.

Principle Global will use HSBC UK’s £20m funding package to facilitate growth in new and existing international markets, with particular focus on the UK, US, Europe and MENA regions. As a result, the company expects to strengthen the management team for the next generation of growth across multiple offices and generate double-digit revenue growth over the next 12 months.

Founded in 1987, Principle Global provides brand consulting in over 70 countries and employs over 700 people across the company. Principle Global’s clients include automotive giants Jaguar Land Rover and Jeep, as well as Bupa, Specsavers and O&CC, the UK’s largest outdoor retailer. Principle Global was advised by Squire Patton Boggs during the transaction process.
