Ex-Charlton winger makes move to Dulwich Hamlet – South London News

Former Charlton winger Mark Marshall has joined Isthmian League Premier Division side Dulwich Hamlet.

The 37-year-old joined for the season after leaving Carshalton Athletic at the end of last season.

Marshall joined the Addicks as a free agent from Bradford City on a two-year deal in 2017.

He made 60 appearances for Charlton and registered eight clean sheets before leaving to join Gillingham in 2019.

Marshall had spells with Coventry, Northampton, Barnet and Crawley during his career.

He told the club’s website: “I’m excited to be in and around the place and seeing everything the football management and general management team are trying to do with the club.

“I feel the club is going places and I want to be a part of it.

“I grew up in and around South London. When we were younger, non-professional boys aspired to come here because this club created a progression path for young players.

“I want to be a part of that and hopefully help the club go in the direction it wants to go.

“I want to contribute as much as possible – I want to be fun.

“It’s all about success for the team. I want to make sure I’m a good teammate and contribute goals and assists to get us where we want to go.”
