Live updates as the crash closes the key A394 through Cornwall

A serious collision has closed a key road across Cornwall this evening, Tuesday 30 July. The A394 coast road near Praa Sands is closed in both directions. We’ll keep you updated on our live blog below.

The incident was first reported at 6:30 p.m. It happened between Trevurvas Lane and Pengersick Lane. Google Maps is reporting very slow traffic in areas around the closed road.

It is not yet clear how many vehicles were involved in the collision, nor if anyone was injured.

Traffic and travel monitoring service Inrix reports: “A394 both ways closed, slow traffic due to accident from Trevurvas Lane to Pengersick stop.”
