Work TRU Leeds – York May 2024

As part of the Transpennine Route Upgrade, work will take place between Leeds and York to replace a bridge between Micklefield and Church Fenton.

from Tuesday, May 28 until Friday 31 May 2024Northern trains will not be able to run between Leeds and York.

Buses will replace trains between York, Church Fenton and Micklefield, where they will connect with trains for journeys to and from Leeds. Some morning and evening buses will make an additional call at Ulleskelf.

Our service from Blackpool to York will start and finish in Leeds while this is happening.

Other operators’ services will be affected – please check National Rail for details and allow extra travel time if you choose to use this route.
