Qasim has maintained an average of 3.98 points in the last 3 three years. He continued his love of soccer with the UMass men’s soccer team for 3 years after transferring from Springfield College.

As the starting goaltender, he led his team to the 2022 LEC Championship as well as its first regular-season men’s soccer conference title since 2016 in 2023. He had to fight through two injuries to get back in top shape for 2023 season.

In addition to his academic and athletic schedule, he worked and interned full-time at MGB as an exercise physiologist in the Cardiac program.

His commitment to succeed and persevere, whether in academics, sports, or in his pursuit of being a nurse, never ceased to amaze his family and friends. We are all extremely proud and honored to see him graduate.
