Police respond after car crashes into a wall at a mini-roundabout

A driver crashed into a mini-roundabout and found himself crashing into a brick wall.

The crash happened at the junction of Park Lane in Corsham, with the front of the purple vehicle left visibly crumpled.

Officers from Wiltshire Police attended the scene just before 7pm, the crash having happened just before.

They were able to manage enough traffic without the need for a temporary or full road closure, preventing more significant delays for passing motorists.

A witness at the scene said: “The police waved the traffic slowly, I couldn’t see any queues so things didn’t look too bad but obviously the traffic was moving a bit slower.”

It is not known how the crash happened or if anyone was injured.
