Liverpool learn the price of potential first signing Arne Slot as free agent target emerges

Liverpool are already being linked with several potential new signings ahead of the summer transfer window.

This summer is expected to see Arne Slot oversee his first transfer window as Liverpool manager. Slot is expected to succeed Jurgen Klopp in the dugout at Anfield and rumors are already starting to circulate about what transfer business the club could be carrying out.

The Reds have just one more game to play in the Klopp era, which comes at home to Wolves in the Premier League this Sunday. After that, the Slot era is expected to begin following the official announcement, and from that point, attention will soon turn to what new signings Slot will make at Anfield.

Reports in the last 24 hours have linked Liverpool with a move for a new midfielder and goalkeeper.

Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners remains a player of interest to Liverpool, according to reports in Italy. Tuttosport have claimed that the Serie A club have set their asking price for the Koopeiners this summer.

It has been claimed that Atalanta would demand a fee of around €60m to €70m (£51.5m – £60m) to consider letting Koopmeiners go to leave the club this summer. Koopmeiners has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool in recent months, with rumors first emerging in 2021 when he was at AZ Alkmaar, working in the Slot before joining Atalanta.
