Ex-Bitstamp CLO Joins Space and Time Executive Team Ahead of Mainnet Launch

Space and Time, a decentralized data platform backed by Microsoft’s M12 venture fund, has named Rika Khurdayan as its new Chief Legal Officer. Khurdayan was previously the CLO of US-based Bitstamp and founded KSTechLaw, a law firm specializing in crypto regulation.

“I am honored to join Space and Time Labs and their innovative team. The potential for transformative impact in blockchain and AI is immense, and I am excited to contribute my expertise to navigate the complex legal landscape and provide innovative solutions to our users,” Khurdayan said in a press release.

Khurdayan joins Space and Time at a time when the company is preparing to launch its mainnet, the team told Crypto Briefing. Her strong experience in crypto and blockchain technology is expected to help the project build a robust and compliant ecosystem and community.

Space and Time is building a decentralized data warehouse platform that provides a verifiable computing layer for AI and blockchain applications. The goal is to enable enterprises to interact with and gain insights from blockchain data without sacrificing security or performance.

In June, the company released Proof of SQL v1, ZK’s first sub-second proofreader for data processing. Companies can run SQL queries on blockchain data using Proof of SQL, which provides proof that the results are tamper-proof.

Holiday said Space and Time will continue to develop advanced AI technologies in partnership with tech giants such as Microsoft and NVIDIA.

“SxT will continue to deliver innovation in AI with partners like Microsoft and NVIDIA to make it easier for developers to build on blockchain, and we will continue to pioneer verifiable data and compute for AI and blockchain through Proof of SQL.
