Amwins will offer a golf course flood insurance program

Amwins Group Inc. announced Tuesday that it will partner with flood technology company Floodbase to offer the “Tees-to-Green” flood insurance program designed to reimburse U.S. golf courses for lost revenue and repair costs incurred when courses are flooded .

The minimum premium is $65,000 and the average limits are $1 million to $7 million, according to an email from an Amwins spokesperson.

The program also provides parametric hedging structures.

The initial target exposure is golf courses in California, with plans to expand to other states soon, according to product information.
