The Classic 650 Twin will share the frame with the Shotgun

The Classic 650 Twin has been seen testing several times, indicating its imminent release.

Interestingly, it appears to share its mainframe with another RE model, the Shotgun, rather than the Interceptor.

The bike’s engine will be a stout 648cc twin-cylinder which is expected to deliver 47bhp of power and 52Nm of torque.

This performance is in line with the other four 650cc RE models currently on the market.

It will have LED headlights, dual exhaust pipes

The Classic 650 Twin will feature an LED headlight, a feature common to all new RE bikes, which first arrived on the Super Meteor.

Additionally, the new model will feature prominently protruding dual exhaust pipes, a design look similar to the Shotgun and other 650 twins – the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650.

These features are expected to enhance both the aesthetics and performance of this much-awaited motorcycle.

The Classic 650 Twin is part of RE’s five launches this year

The launch of the Classic 650 Twin is part of Royal Enfield’s ambitious plan to introduce five new models this financial year.

The new model is expected to be priced between INR 3.30 and INR 3.70 (ex-showroom), placing it between the Interceptor and the Super Meteor in terms of cost.

This strategic pricing is anticipated to appeal to a wide range of motorcycle enthusiasts, further expanding RE’s market presence.
