What are the fastest trains in the world?

So you like to go fast, right? Well, unfortunately for you, the law says speeding is illegaland even on a racetrack, you’ll be lucky to see speeds in excess of 150 mph unless you’re in something extremely expensive. The easiest way to get your speed fix would be to ride some of the the fastest roller coasters in the worldbut what if even the world’s fastest roller coaster isn’t enough to scratch that itch?

The obvious solution is to book a trip on one of the fastest trains in the world. Unfortunately for our US readers (so like 95 percent of you), the US doesn’t have high-speed rail, so experiencing any of these trains will require a bit of international travel. Then again, who wouldn’t want to see France at nearly 200 mph? And it’s not even the fastest I’ve found.
