Gold price falls by Rs 10 to Rs 72,760, silver falls by Rs 100 to Rs 85,900 | commodities

In Mumbai, the price of ten grams of 22 carat gold is at par with Kolkata and Hyderabad at Rs 66,690.

In Delhi, Bengaluru and Chennai, the price of ten grams of 22 carat gold was Rs 66,840, Rs 66,690 and Rs 66,690 respectively.

The price of one kilogram of silver in Delhi is in line with the silver price in Mumbai and Kolkata at Rs 85,900.

The price of one kilogram of silver in Chennai was Rs 90,900.

US Gold Prices It held steady on Monday, near a record high reached in the previous session, as rising expectations of a US interest rate cut next month lifted bullion’s appeal.

Spot gold was down 0.2 percent at $2,501.19 an ounce by 0042 GMT. Prices rose to an all-time high of $2,509.65 on Friday.

Spot silver was down 0.22% at $28.94 an ounce, platinum was down 0.1% at $953.06 and palladium was down 0.8% at $943.46 dollars.
