Ben Wynter joins Woking – The Non-League Football Paper

Ben Wynter has become National League Woking’s first signing of the summer.

The 26-year-old right-back arrives from Barnet, where he spent the last two seasons. Made 14 Championship appearances in 2023/24 for the Bees.

A former Crystal Palace academy graduate, Wynter’s past clubs include Bromley, Hampton & Richmond Borough and Torquay United, where he played in the 2021 promotion final defeat to Hartlepool United on penalties.

Woking manager Michael Doyle told the club’s official website:

“I am delighted to make Ben our first signing for next season.

“He is a winner and has always been involved in teams at the top of the table.

“Ben is a leader on and off the pitch and – at 26 – we feel like we’re welcoming him as he heads into his best years.”
