Stocks in Norway are down at the close of trade; Oslo OBX was down 0.05% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Oslo, it was down 0.05%.

The best performers of the session on the were Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL: ), which rose 1.56% or 17.00 points to trade at 1,105.00 at the close. Meanwhile, TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL: ) added 1.42% or 1.80 points to end at 128.60 and Borr Drilling Ltd (OL: ) was up 1.32% or 0.85 points to trade at 65.05 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Equinor ASA (OL: ), which fell 1.56% or 4.45 points to 280.45 at the close. SalMar ASA (OL: ) declined 1.53% or 9.00 points to end at 581.00 and Nel ASA (OL: ) declined 1.44% or 0.08 points to 5.35.

Advancers outnumbered decliners on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 150 to 138, with 20 ending unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery rose 1.56%, or 1.12, to $73.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude for October delivery rose 1.53%, or 1.16, to $77.21 a barrel, while December gold futures fell 1.25 % or 31.80, reaching $2,515.70 a troy ounce.

EUR/NOK rose 0.35% to 11.76, while USD/NOK rose 0.75% to 10.58.

US dollar index futures rose 0.44% to 101.36.
