Police arrest driver in Yates Ford Road crash that killed 32-year-old woman

On May 3, Prince William crash investigators obtained arrest warrants for the driver believed to be at fault in a fatal collision that occurred on Yates Ford Road near Evans Ford Road in Manassas on April 15.

Jessica Lynn Randall, 32, of Manassas, who was a passenger inside the same vehicle as the accused, died from her injuries on impact. Police said alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash.

“The investigation revealed that the driver of the 1993 Buick Roadmaster, identified as the defendant, was under the influence and failed to yield the right of way to a Dodge Ram pickup as the vehicles entered the intersection and collided,” Prince said William. PIO Renee Carr.

Police charged the accused, Jason Carter Lambeth, 46, of 6207 Sierra Ct. in Manassas, with aggravated involuntary manslaughter that was DUI-related. and failure to yield the right of way.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 56-year-old Manassas man, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and had to be transported to an area hospital. An old man in the Roadmaster was pronounced dead at the scene.

Following the investigation, police arrested Lambeth. His arraignment is pending and he is being held without bail.
