British broker Clear Group acquires RT Waters Ltd.

Clear Group, the London-based independent insurance broker, has announced that it has acquired the share capital of UK-based RT Waters Ltd.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

This latest deal adds to Clear’s presence in the South East of England as it continues to build a sustainable long-term business, the broker said in a statement.

Established in 1960 and based in Leatherhead, RT Waters Ltd. has experience in commercial, motor and liability risks. The team of seven staff, led by managing director Trevor Hayter, brings a wealth of long-term client relationships and experience, adding depth to Clear’s capabilities in the region.

“The RT Waters team is well known to us and we are delighted that this long-standing business, led by an excellent management team, has joined Clear at this exciting time. Both of our businesses are culturally aligned; sharing the same values ​​of doing the right thing for our staff and customers,” commented Mike Edgeley, CEO of Clear Group, in a statement.
