Liverpool FC to debut new 2024/25 home kit against Wolves – Liverpool FC

Liverpool’s final Premier League game is fully focused on a send-off for Jurgen Klopp, but the day will also see the club debut their 2024/25 home kit.

The club unveiled their new home kit at the start of May, a strip inspired by the 1984 European Cup winning design – a retro look for 2024/25.

For the first and last time, the Reds will wear the kit under Jurgen Klopp, before it is then handed over to Arne Slot, who is expected to be announced as the new head coach soon.

Liverpool will also wear the new warm-up shirt and anthem jacket ahead of kick-off, with Alisson donning the black goalkeeper kit for the first time for 2024/25.

The tradition of wearing next season’s kit on the last matchday is nothing new, but if we all had our way we’d still be in contention for the title, thus delaying the debut until next season.

However, there’s a good chance you’ll see him in action when Wolves arrive on Sunday afternoon for a 4pm (BST) kick-off.

It will be an emotional day as Klopp bids farewell to the club after almost nine years and seven major trophies – the day we’ve been dreading is nigh.

The manager is expected to give a speech and it will be hard for us to hold it together, let alone Jurgen!

With several members of his backroom staff also leaving, as well as a number of players out of contract, there is plenty of finality about Sunday – we really are entering a new era in the summer.
