The Lambeth Country Show program has been announced

The Country Show takes place in Brockwell Park between Brixton and Herne Hill and will run over the weekend of June 8th and June 9th. This summer’s show will retain its distinctive celebration, highlighting the best of both the city and the countryside.

Cllr Donatus Anyanwu, Cabinet Member for Stronger Communities, Leisure and Sport, said: “The Lambeth Country Show is a highlight of the summer for our borough and our communities, so I’m delighted there is such a strong line up for the 50th anniversary this year. edition.

“We have worked hard to keep this event as a free community event despite the very tough financial times we are facing, as the Lambeth Country Show is a brilliant opportunity for our communities to come together for a safe, inclusive and, mostly, fun. .”

The annual event has been organized by Lambeth Council since 1974 and combines the best of the town and countryside with live music, sheep shearing, vegetable carving competitions, community stalls and much more. More than 100,000 people attended the June 2023 weekend.

The Lambeth Country Show organized by Lambeth Council in partnership with Brockwell Live. To find out more about Lambeth Country Show visit www.lambethcountryshow.co.uk and follow along twitter.com/lblcountryshow.
