Brazil’s government forecasts GDP growth of 2.6% in 2025, inflation to reach 3.3% By Reuters

BRASILIA (Reuters) – The Brazilian government projected economic growth of 2.6 percent and inflation of 3.3 percent for 2025 in its draft budget proposal for next year, which was submitted to Congress late on Friday.

The proposal calls for the central government – ​​comprising the Treasury, central bank and social security – to end next year with a zero primary deficit, in line with the official target of a result equivalent to 0% of gross domestic product (GDP).
