Top 20 baby names that were loved in Liverpool a decade ago

A decade ago, these were the best baby names for boys and girls that were loved all over town.

When it comes to choosing a name for your baby, many parents take inspiration from popular culture, while others opt for more “traditional” names that never go out of style. Recent studies have also found which baby names have seen the biggest rise – and fall – in popularity around the last decade, and more of a resurgence of classic, old baby names.

In 2014, the names were revealed in an annual report by the parenting club Bounty, following a nationwide survey of more than 370,000 names. These are the most popular and unusual names given to children in Liverpool at the time – which could provide some inspiration if you’re expecting, the ECHO previously reported.
