Turkey stocks rise at close of trade; BIST 100 rose 2.82% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Istanbul, it rose 2.82%.

The best performers of the session were Borusan Birlesik Boru Fabrikalari Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS (IS:), which rose 9.97% or 37.75 points to trade at 416.25 at the close. Meanwhile, Borusan Yatirim ve Pazarlama AS (IS: ) added 9.97% or 182.00 points to end at 2,007.00 and Coca-Cola Icecek AS (IS: ) was up 7.06% or 4 .30 points, up to 65.20 at the end of trading.

The worst performers of the session were Eczacibasi Yatirim Holding Ortakligi AS (IS: ), which declined 2.31% or 4.90 points to trade at 206.90 at the close. Izdemir Enerji Elektrik Uretim AS (IS: ) declined 1.43% or 0.30 points to end at 20.64 and Reeder Teknoloji Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS (IS: ) declined 1.18% or 0.40 points to trade at 33.52.

Advancers outnumbered decliners on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 462 to 102, with 12 ending unchanged.

Shares of Izdemir Enerji Elektrik Uretim AS (IS:) fell to a low; losing 1.43% or 0.30 to 20.64.

Gold futures for December delivery rose 0.23 percent, or 5.85, to $2,533.45 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodity trading, crude for October delivery rose 0.19%, or 0.14, to $73.69 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract fell 0.01% or 0.01 to $76.92 per barrel.

USD/TRY fell 0.46% to 33.91, while EUR/TRY fell 0.31% to 37.54.

US dollar index futures were down 0.01% at 101.61.
