Portugal stocks up at close of trade; PSI rose 0.20% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Portugal stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Lisbon, it was up 0.20% to hit a fresh one-month high.

The best performers of the session were Banco Comercial Portugues (ELI: ), which was unchanged at 1.08% or 0.00 points to trade at 0.42 at the close. Meanwhile The Navigator Company SA (ELI: ) added 0.81% or 0.03 points to end at 3.72 and Amorim bark (ELI: ) was up 0.67% or 0.06 points to trade at 9.04 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Nos SGPS SA (ELI:), which declined 1.53% or 0.06 points to trade at 3.55 at the close. Renovated EDP (ELI: ) declined 0.48% or 0.07 points to end at 14.40 and Jeronimo Martins SGPS SA (ELI: ) declined 0.48% or 0.08 points to 16. 66.

Declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 14 to 14, with 5 ending unchanged.

Brent crude for November delivery rose 0.68%, or 0.52, to $77.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, crude for October delivery rose 0.91%, or 0.67, to $74.22 a barrel, while December gold futures rose 0.24% or 6.10, to $2,533.70 per troy ounce.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.17% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.07% to 0.84.

US dollar index futures were unchanged 0.00% at 101.62.
