Kyren Wilson will face Wales’ Jak Jones in the World Snooker Championship final.

Snooker great Ronnie O’Sullivan was knocked out in the quarter-finals by Stuart Bingham, who won the game 13-10.




Jones entered the tournament as an outsider but beat Bingham in the semi-finals to secure a surprise place in the final, pocketing £200,000 in the process.

Speaking about his epic journey to the final, Jones said: “It’s crazy, it was totally unexpected coming into the tournament. I don’t think I played particularly well. I watched the world final every year on TV at home. and being in it doesn’t feel real yet, it hasn’t sunk in.”

Jones’ opponent Wilson defeated David Gilbert in the other semi-final, winning 17-11.
