Morocco shares fall at close of trade; All Moroccan stocks were down 0.52% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, it was down 0.52%.

The best performers of the session were Stokvis Nord Afrique (CSE: ), which rose 7.05% or 1.10 points to trade at 16.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Realis. Mecaniques (CSE: ) was up 6.52% or 29.00 points to end at 474.00 and Micro Data SA (CSE: ) was up 2.40% or 15.00 points to 640. 00 at the end of transactions.

The worst performers of the session were Fenie Brossette (CSE: ), which fell 6.26% or 7.75 points to trade at 116.05 at the close. Residences Dar Saada SA (CSE: ) declined 4.52% or 3.60 points to 76.00 and SMI (CSE: ) declined 3.67% or 80.00 points to 2,100.00 .

Declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 31 to 16 and 8 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery fell 3.58%, or 2.63, to $70.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude for November delivery fell 4.10%, or 3.18, to $74.34 a barrel, while December gold futures fell 0.63 % or 15.85 to $2,511.75 per troy ounce.

EUR/MAD fell 0.72% to 10.77, while USD/MAD fell 0.46% to 9.76.

US dollar index futures rose 0.14% to 101.77.
