Coventry Beauty Salon is ‘spa of the year’ for offering something a little different

Staff at a Coventry spa are celebrating winning a national award for the second year running. Mana Spa, based at The Wave, successfully defended the Spa of the Year title it won at last year’s English Hair and Beauty Awards.

The health and wellness venue fought off competition from some of the biggest names in the business at an awards ceremony at Nottingham’s Colwick Hall Hotel. Spa manager Rachel Brooks said the win was recognition of her staff’s hard work and unwavering ambition to provide customers with the most relaxing and spiritual treatments.

Rachel said: “We’ve continued to maintain all our standards since winning the first prize and I think that’s really stood us in good stead with the judges. We offer a wide range of different treatments, so that’s where we stand out. “We’ve just launched our skincare brand Temple Spa, where we offer menopause treatments and oncology massages.

“This latest award is really a testament to the hard work of all the staff who ensure we offer state-of-the-art treatments and the best customer service – all in the cleanest and most hygienic environment.” Now in its twelfth year, EHBA celebrates excellence in the hair and beauty industry and honors spas, stylists and salons that go above and beyond for their clients.

Rachel said her team’s latest award will take pride of place next to their award in 2023. “We might run out of space,” Rachel said. “Well that’s definitely the plan.”

A spokesperson for the awards scheme said: “Winning an award in this prestigious competition is a significant achievement as it recognizes the talent and hard work of hair and beauty professionals and sets a benchmark for others to emulate. follows. The winners of these awards represent the highest standards of quality and service in the English hair and beauty industry. We want to congratulate all of our winners and commended for their achievements.”
