Video: Gnonto provides stunning assist for Leeds’ second in play-off semi-finals

Although the two sides endured a hard-fought 0-0 draw in the first leg, Leeds found themselves three goals to their advantage at half-time in the reverse fixture at Elland Road.

Gnonto, who started on the wing in both legs of the semi-final, was heavily involved in two of those goals, claiming a direct assist for Leeds’ second.

The 20-year-old took over from the right flank in the 20th minute and put a beautiful, bent ball onto a board in the six-yard box for Piroe to nod over.

The Italian youngster also shot at Norwich goalkeeper Angus Gunn, who he again managed to look in danger, leading to Leeds’ fourth goal 23 minutes into the second half.
