The accountancy, business and financial advisory firm welcomed new Accounts Director David Jones and Tim Crawley, Director of Company Secretarial Services.

Meanwhile, Sally Jones, who has been with Armstrong Watson for 20 years, starting as an accounting trainee, has been promoted to the role of accounting director.

The senior team members, who are based in the firm’s Leeds office, will contribute to the further development of the accountancy proposition in Leeds and the wider Yorkshire area, providing a range of accountancy and consultancy services.

Sally Jones said: “It’s a huge personal achievement for my hard work and loyalty to be recognised. I hope to be a role model for our current trainees and the future generation of the company.

“The accounting proposition in Leeds has gone from strength to strength in recent years.

“We have a great team, great customers and a very strong pipeline going forward. This will provide opportunities within the team and externally as we continue to grow.”

David Jones joins Armstrong Watson after four years in the industry, where he held two senior positions in finance and before that worked in practice for 10 years.

He will work with existing clients and pursue new opportunities for Armstrong Watson across the region, focusing on strategic business advisory service with a hands-on approach to help and support local businesses to thrive.

He said: “From my initial conversations, I knew that Armstrong Watson was the right choice for my return to training.

“The firm has a fantastic culture and fosters innovation and I look forward to helping the accountancy team grow and evolve the offering we offer to our already fantastic client base.”

“In addition to the much-deserved promotion of Sally Jones to Director, we will further enhance the exceptional customer service we provide to all our customers.
