The best and worst Disney World resorts from someone who’s been to them all

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is my all-time favorite place to stay.

I reach peak vacation mode every time I set foot in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

Dating back to the opening of Disney World in 1971, the resort exudes paradise through its tropically inspired décor, ambiance and dining.

In addition to the newly renovated rooms, you also have a large number of transport options, including the monorail, boats, walking paths and buses.

I love sipping a tropical cocktail at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto on the sandy beaches of Seven Seas Lagoon while watching the Magic Kingdom fireworks just across the water.

You’ll also find some cult favorite Disney foods like Dole Whip and Tonga Toast.
