Indonesia stocks rise at close of trade; The IDX Composite Index rose 0.62% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Jakarta, it rose 0.62 percent to hit a new all-time high.

The best performers of the session were Chitose Internasional Tbk (JK: ), which rose 34.51% or 49.00 points to trade at 191.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Pelangi Indah Canindo Tbk (JK: ) added 34.38% or 33.00 points to end at 129.00 and Maming Enam Sembilan Mineral Tbk PT (JK: ) was up 24.79% or 60.00 points to end at 129.00 at 302.00 at the end of trading.

The worst performers of the session were Express Transindo Utama Tbk (JK:), which fell 20.00% or 1.00 points to trade at 4.00 at the close. Asuransi Jiwa Sinarmas Msig PT (JK:) declined 16.60% or 1,000.00 points to end at 5,025.00 and Minna Padi Investama Tbk (JK:) declined 10.00% or 1.00 points to end at 9.00.

Advancers outnumbered decliners on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 309 to 298, with 227 ending unchanged.

Shares in Asuransi Jiwa Sinarmas Msig PT (JK:) fell to 3-year lows; losing 16.60% or 1,000.00 to 5,025.00. Shares in Maming Enam Sembilan Mineral Tbk PT (JK:) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 24.79% or 60.00 to 302.00.

Crude oil for October delivery rose 0.48%, or 0.33, to $69.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude for November delivery rose 0.48%, or 0.35, to $73.04 a barrel, while December gold futures rose 0.17 % or 4.40 to $2,547.50 per troy ounce.

USD/IDR rose 0.04% to 15,405.15, while AUD/IDR fell 0.10% to 10,370.98.

US dollar index futures fell 0.17% to 100.91.
