Norwegian stocks are up at the close of trade; Oslo OBX rose 0.29% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Oslo, it was up 0.29%.

The best performers of the session were Mowi ASA (OL: ), which rose 3.13% or 5.70 points to trade at 187.60 at the close. Meanwhile, SalMar ASA (OL: ) added 2.50% or 13.50 points to end at 553.50 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL: ) was up 2.28% or 0.24 points to trade at 10.75 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Submarine 7 SA (OL: ), which declined 2.86% or 5.30 points to trade at 180.30 at the close. Frontline Ltd (OL: ) declined 1.98% or 4.80 points to end at 237.40 and Hafnia Ltd (OL: ) declined 1.45% or 1.10 points to 74.80.

Advancers outnumbered decliners on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 142 to 136, with 30 ending unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery rose 1.23%, or 0.83, to $68.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude for November delivery rose 0.97%, or 0.69, to $71.75 a barrel, while December gold futures rose 0.07 % or 1.85 to $2,526.45 per troy ounce.

EUR/NOK rose 0.76% to 11.98, while USD/NOK rose 1.38% to 10.85.

US dollar index futures rose 0.37% to 101.52.
