Sean Dyche admits straight Everton transfer and talks Dele Alli’s future

Sean Dyche insists Everton will be ready to move in the transfer market when the time is right this summer as he admits he expects certain members of his squad to attract interest after director of football Kevin Thelwell told fans that the players will be sold.

When asked about the recruits’ planning, Dyche said: “It’s not a balanced situation yet. We’re just going to have to take a balanced view of the different directions of what could happen, and a lot of attention is paid to the recruiting side of things or the possible recruiting side of things, because the broader the parameters, the more it’s harder.

“That’s been the reality since we got here, so we’re just going to be open-minded and ready for what we can do when it comes our way.”

On his departure, the Blues boss added: “I think Kev has been open about there being an idea that we probably have to sell. We don’t know who, we don’t know what, we don’t know when exactly. Because obviously we’re not open to to stay.

“But if people are likely to come for our players, which we think the players will certainly do, then we’ll have to be open to that because that’s just the current reality of the club and its finances.”
