The team building follows Mosaic’s move to its New York City headquarters on 42nd Street earlier this year and its hiring in July Toby Smith as its new CEO for the Americas.

The team includes senior specialists with experience managing risks across broad market segments, including energy, manufacturing, chemical, real estate, municipal, transactional and development exposures, as well as creating solutions for emerging markets such as energy transition, with domain product expertise. such as carbon sequestration exposures and tax liabilities.

“We are excited to welcome this talented group of fellow market leaders to our dynamic team,” said Jim Finnamore, Mosaic Global Head of Environmental Liability. “This accelerates our expansion into the US, Canada and the wider Americas and paves the way for immediate and broad market engagement in the region at a time when it is most needed. There are a lot of flows in the market – and fewer carriers that offer the technical skills and flexibility to address increasing complex environmental risks and emerging pollution issues.”
