Finland stocks rise at close of trade; The OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.70% Via Investing.com

Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Helsinki, it gained 0.70%.

The best performers of the session on the were Konecranes ABP (HE: ), which rose 4.73% or 2.70 points to trade at 59.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Kojamo (HE: ) added 3.33% or 0.34 points to end at 10.55 and Kemira Oyj (HE: ) was up 2.89% or 0.60 points to 21.34 in late trade .

The worst performers of the session were Kesko Oyj (HE: ), which declined 2.30% or 0.42 points to 17.86 at the close. Orion Oyj B (HE: ) declined 1.70% or 0.80 points to end at 46.30 and Qt Group Oyj (HE: ) declined 1.35% or 1.20 points to 87.95.

Advancers outnumbered decliners on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 113 to 58, with 17 ending unchanged.

Brent crude for November delivery rose 0.51 percent, or 0.37, to $72.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, crude for October delivery rose 0.52%, or 0.36, to $69.33 a barrel, while December gold futures rose 1.16% or 29.95, to $2,610.55 per troy ounce.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.09% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.01% to 0.84.

US dollar index futures fell 0.34% to 101.01.
