How SpaceX could make Elon Musk the world’s first trillionaire

  • Elon Musk’s net worth is estimated to reach $1 trillion by 2027, driven by the growth of Tesla and SpaceX.
  • SpaceX’s Starlink IPO could significantly boost Musk’s wealth.
  • Musk’s current net worth is estimated at $237 billion.

How SpaceX could make Elon Musk the world’s first trillionaire

A new report from the wealth tracking website Inform Connect predicts that Elon Musk could become the world’s first trillionaire by 2027. This news is likely disheartening for WeWork co-founder Adam Neumann, who famously said in 2019 that he wanted to live forever and become the first trillionaire.

Informa Connect said that assuming Musk’s wealth growth continues linearly at a 110% annual rate, the billionaire, worth $237 billion according to the Bloomberg Wealth Index, will reach the $1 trillion club by 2027.

This would mean that Musk’s wealth should quadruple in the next few years.

Here’s more from the UK data firm:

Who hasn’t heard of Elon Musk? He’s the founder of fast-growing car company Tesla, maker of advanced rockets and spacecraft SpaceX, and the person you can thank (or blame) for rebranding Twitter to X. With a net worth of $195 billion, growing at an average rate of 109.88% every year, Elon Musk is the clear favorite to become the first trillionaire by 2027.

Much of Musk’s fortune was derived from Tesla’s dominance in the electric vehicle space. The next step in wealth for Trump’s most prominent supporter is the space race and how his company, SpaceX, dominates rocket launches and the space internet. Bloomberg reported in June that SpaceX was valued at about $210 billion. we RECORDED Anytime SpaceX’s Starlink could get closer to an initial public offering, that would unlock even more wealth for the billionaire.
